For over 100 years, electricity generation, transmission, and distribution companies have been engaged in the creation and transmission of energy – flowing just one way.
America’s utilities are 99%+ successful in the delivery of dependable electrical energy, but are organized around that one-way model with security today being a known and primarily physical asset issue. Tomorrow that may not be the case. Smart Grid Security takes on a whole new meaning because ‘the smarter the grid gets, the more vulnerable it becomes’.
